We are thrilled to be returning to High Street Concerts in Lyons, CO, the musical epicenter of Colorado, this Saturday night.  We’ll be sharing the evening with our friend and yours, Danny Shafer.  Tickets and information can be found HERE.

April 17 – 19 we hope you’ll join us in Durango, Colorado for the rollicking hootenanny known as the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown.  It’s always an incredible time at the scenic and historic Henry Strater Theater.

If you’re in or around Longmont, you can catch Mike Finders and Ryan Drickey playing music and making each other laugh at the Tasty Weasel on Sunday the 12th and Oskar Blues Home Made Liquids and Solids on Thursday the 16th.

And don’t forget to sign up for the Ghost Ranch Bluegrass Camp!

FY5 is thrilled to be teaching at Ghost Ranch Bluegrass Camp May 13 – 17, 2015!! Also teaching will be Matt Flinner on mandolin and Gregg Daigle on guitar.

It’s amazing how a bunch of folkies can transform a slick modern corporate conference hotel into a rocking, rollicking, authentic party with hundreds of our friends.

FY5 had an absolute blast at the 2015 Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City.

Thanks to Quicksilver Productions, Hearth PR, and the Bluegrass Situation for hosting the rockinest room for us to showcase in, and to our friends and colleagues for the inspiration and great times.  Some favorite acts you might want to check out if you haven’t already:  The Stray Birds, Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellies, New Country Rehab, Town Mountain, Betse & Clarke, Laura Cortese and the Dance Cards, Kristin Andreassen, Tall Heights, Dom Flemons, and Session Americana.

Also, Chris Hadfield was an amazing keynote speaker.  He’s an astronaut/humanist who recorded an album from space.  From SPACE!!!!  Give this a listen.
